When I was younger my father used to document snakes around Wisconsin. I was just a kid, most likely 6 or 7 years old, when he first started bringing me along on his little "escapades". I specifically remember one time at Paradise Marsh when one of us removed a 5-8 lb rock that was embedded in the ground. At first glance I did not see anything other than a worm, which I decided to pick up because it looked different from other worms I had seen and after further inspection realized it was a baby snake! That particular snake was a DeKay's Brown snake; normally they do not grow to be any bigger than 8-14 inches. Ever since that period of my life I have been hooked on anything to do with reptiles and amphibians. I've had uncountable reptile and amphibian pets, studied snakes and other reptiles, and years ago was finally old enough to get a well enough paying job to afford some of my first ball python morphs. It has been a dream of mine since I first saw pictures of the piebald mutation on Dan and Collette Sutherland’s website when I was younger to own these morphs. At the time $20,000 had my jaw hitting the floor and I thought I would never have such a magnificent animal in my collection. I met my wife Andrea in high school, and a couple years after we graduated we got married. We started our ball python collection about a year after we started seeing each other, and even when I first proposed the idea of breeding ball pythons she was nothing but supportive and, in fact, was almost as excited as I was about getting some of these beautiful snakes. We live in Beaver Dam Wisconsin, and have a relatively small collection. This is not our only source of income, and we have no intent on having hundreds of breeder ball pythons. I myself am a PC technician and Andrea works a seasonal job. We want to keep our collection easily manageable and small. This is more of a love and hobby of ours than a job and without a lot of help we feel we could not maintain a huge collection at our high standards. At first I was not sure if I was going to create a website and sell my snakes outside of Wisconsin. With such a small collection I know I will not have a problem selling all my stock within my home state, but I decided that one more website for me to maintain would not be much work, and I would love to be able to sell snakes throughout the entire US. We are more than happy to help out with any herpetological questions people have and anyone who wants to contact us is more than encouraged to do so. We have two main goals here at Royality; offering people quality, 100% healthy captive bred ball pythons, and having the best customer support anyone could ask for both before and after a purchase.
This being said we hope you enjoy our site and our collection, and we hope to hear from you!
